After a four hour train journey, a five hour flight delay, a 7 hour flight, 10 minutes to run across an airport and to another terminal onto another hour flight.. I finally made it home. Over summer my flight to Europe got really messed up and my flight got refunded. So I chose to spend Christmas and New Years in the UK again using my refund (amazing!!).

Back in May when I first came over to Europe, I flew into Glasgow, Scotland. We we're driving from Scotland to Paris and then Paris to a few cities in South France. Lots of driving, sore bodies and bickering about what spots to ride.. standard.

All in all it was a rad trip, I got to meet so many new people and ride some awesome trails.Majority of the trip was spent riding street except a few days at the trails. The last day we were at La Source, when everyone was riding the most, Dave and Nailz we're filming street for the day.. as it seems I don't have any riding clips in the video. Thanks Grant for letting me come on this trip with everyone!

France Recap

Whoops I meant to post this a whileeee ago haha..

Sorry for the lack of updates, A LOT has been going on.. but here's a recap of my France trip. Also La Source trails video coming soon.

I spent the whole month of September and the first week of October in France. My first couple weeks I stayed in Toulouse at a house called Moldavia. Crazy house!! About 8 people live in the house with a spine mini in the back garden, along with an olddddd dog that I gave a mohawk, two cats and a few chickens.

The first weekend was the trail jam, was so fun didn't have enough time to get some pictures haaha. The following week was full of BBQ's and a pizza night

The third weekend I was there, we went to the Vans kill the line contest.. next year I definitely want to ride the jumps.. they were MASSIVE.. Here's a little video of the after party

After Vans kill the line I went to the Alps to stay with my friend Fred who also rides for BSD. We went on a week long trails trip Mark Mulville, Brian Foster, Maxime Charveron and a crew of Frenchies. (Video soon) After the trip I went to Marseilles for the weekend for Fise. Some how I ended up getting to judge the contest and got paid for it haha. Also! Next year at the main Fise in Montpelier, France.. there will probably be a girls class :D

Later that night my backpack got stolen out of my friends car which had my passport, all of my ids, credit cards, money, knee pads, random wrench, iPhone, majority of my clothes and a list of other things. :(

I didn't have much money so I went back to my friends house in the Alps and luckily he worked in a factory that i could work a few days at haha. So the next few days I spent working in a soap factory to get money to keep traveling. After that I then went back to Toulouse to ride La Source before I came back to England. here's some pictures from la Source.

I am still waiting to hear back about NASS 2011, but I have got a little news and I guess Masters and NASS want the same weekend next year for the contests, which really sucks. But hopefully they will work it out and not be on the same weekend. I should hear from them soon though.

Hello Angie, thx for your email. I spoke quickly yesterday with Ben about this possibility. Johan, in copy, is in charge of the contests during the FISE. Hervé, Anne-Cécile, what do you think about this idea ? I believe it could be a good thing for several reasons : open the event to girls, develop the level, give us a new media angle ... but we are so tight on the schedule ! As describe below, it could be ok (maybe qualifications on wednesday and finals on thursday) ?... Anyway, Johan will think about it and get back to you,

Knee Surgeryyyyyyyyyyy

Welp, I have sure been getting my fair share of injuries lately..

I flew to Cologne, Germany last Tuesday to meet up with all the girls for the 2010 Masters.

Kayley (who had my helmet and knee pads) was arriving on Thursday, but we all went riding on Wednesday. I thought I'd be fine to ride, but nope haha my wrist was really weak and I didn't want to land hard on it, cause it is still broken, over shot the box a bit, landed in a turndown and my knee punched the ground. My skin got ripped off about four inches down my leg right under my knee to the bone. I went to the hospital to get it stitched back up, but I popped a bursa sac which infected my knee and shin. I tried just taking it easy so I wouldn't have to get surgery for the next couple days..

On Saturday I couldn't ride so I got to judge the girls contest, which was pretty rad and then had to get rushed to the hospital to have surgery to remove the bursa sac and drain my knee :/

I was in the hospital for three days, the Germans were very nice! Could barely speak english and at one point when they were asking me what I wanted for meals, we were communicating through animal noises and drawings hahhahaha.

I am currently back in sunny England at the moment on bed rest for a while, going to sneak out on Sunday to go to London for the United premiere. Get my stitches out next Wednesday !
